Band Member Bios

Stephen Ajamie (Guitar and Vocals)

Stephen wasn't always a guitar player, but at 18, he found the power of playing guitar, and hasn't stopped since.  Playing in a basement band to sitting room only was where Stephen realized how awesome it was to play for people.  Evenutally, getting that opportunity to play at places like Melody Inn, Sabbatical, Birdy's, Stephen has grown into his own as a guitar player and all around musician.

Amir Zaid (Guitar and Vocals)

Amir spent his formative years in Malaysia, blissfully ignorant of "good" music until he discovered underground music via cassette trading in high school. Inspired by the rock/punk/metal blasting out of his Walkman, he convinced his parents to buy him a guitar. He then set out to take over the world, playing everything from pop to emo to southern metal(!) before getting back to his punk roots with Good Guy Bad Guy.

Phil Graybiel (Drums)

Phil was raised by two lovely parents in rural Indiana until 2002. He started banging on things with sticks after failed attempts at trumpet and being a professional American football player. He has played in a variety of bands including: Highway Magic (pop punk), Sam Eakin and the Awkwards(60s pop revival/folk), and the Lebanon Community Band(show tunes/patriotic thrash metal). Phil also enjoys filling in for his mother at Lebanon High School musicals.

Clarence (Bass)

Clarence is a musician out of Anderson, Indiana.  He plays trumpet, french horn, baritone, tuba, bass guitar, drums, and piano. His primary instruments are trumpet, trombone, and Tuba. He started out, simi professionally, in 2008 in the hip-hop duo, Hinx Jones and has shared the stage with the Nappy Roots, Jean Grae, and Big Pooh from the former group, Little Brother. He's in the Ghanaian, Rock, Highlife band, Sweet Poison Victim where he shares lead vocals. He's also an associate in Pork and Beans Brass Band where he fills in on bass drum and trombone when needed. Good Guy Bad Guy is a good addition to his growth as a musician!
